Karen Long Neck village

Next we walked through the Karen Long Neck part of the village. This sign tells a little history of the tribe, who migrated from Myanmar to Thailand. They are not Thai citizens, but the government grants them asylum so long as they can be used as a tourist attraction. There are about 50 members of this tribe left in the world, all located here. It felt a little weird, but was interesting to see them and learn their story.
