Interesting Meal

We were invited to share in a meal of barbecued dog and local Lao whiskey provided by some Lao friends of the owner of our guesthouse. It was an interesting experience. Dog is pretty fatty and tough. They eat it with lemon grass, mint and chili. Some people raise dog in this area specifically for human consumption.
