After the beautiful sunset in the previous post, the night got more complicated. As per usual, we arrived in town without a place to stay. Being that this is the high season, there were throngs of tourists everywhere. After a tiring couple of hours searching on foot for an acceptable available room, we decided to hop in a jumbo (Laos' close equivalent to a tuk tuk) and speed up the search. Within a couple of minutes on the jumbo, a motorcycle ran into us (at a low speed). Everyone was okay. Nine days in the crazy streets of Thailand and we didn't see a single accident, but two minutes driving in Laos and we were in one. Pictured is the scene of the crime (the following day).
