We arrived in Chiang Mai this morning at 5:30a with no place to stay. Quite a confusing first hour of the day. We eventually found a spot for tonight and decided to do our first load of laundry (pictured hanging in the room).
Tomorrow morning we leave for an overnight trek in the mountains that basically consists of hiking, riding on elephants, swimming near waterfalls, sleeping in a local hill tribe village and bamboo rafting the next day. We heard it can be pretty touristy, but we're hoping for the best.
