On our last day in Vietnam, we decided to take it easy. We went for a walk by the lake (no turtle sightings - but the locals were watching for him).
Since we had only a day left in this country, we gave our Vietnam book to our Swiss friends (they are heading south and will be in Vietnam for a month). We actually gave them our Cambodia book as well, since they are heading there next. This is all in return for their nice gesture of giving us their China book (they had just come from China). All good backpacking karma. So, for our last couple of days, we're working with only the Hanoi pages we removed from the book before we made the trade(they did not need Hanoi since they left yesterday).
