Today we went on a tour of a few places in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). The DMZ was the area established through the Geneva Convention of 1954 at the end of the French War to seperate North and South Vietnam along the 17th parallel.
We were taken on the tour by a local driver and a local guide. Our guide, Mr Trung, was a former First Leutenant in the South Vietnamese Army.
